§ Mr. Chris Smith[holding answer 10 February 1998]: My Department, in common with all others, is currently undertaking a fundamental review of expenditure involving a re-evaluation of all the activities in the sectors covered by the department and its sponsored bodies. I expect to publish the outcome of the review in the summer.
