§ Mr. RaynsfordHousing companies which are registered with the Housing Corporation as Registered Social Landlords (RSLs) are subject to the Corporation's Performance Standards and Regulatory Guidance. These will allow RSLs to use assured shorthold tenancies effectively as introductory tenancies, in defined circumstances.
The Housing Corporation requires RSLs to seek the agreement of the relevant local authority when contemplating the use of such introductory tenancies.
