To ask the Secretary of State for Education and Employment what plans he has to establish a national framework for strategic planning of post- compulsory education at national, regional and local levels. [28472]

We are considering, with the Further Education Funding Council and the Local Government Association, how to work with them and other partners to develop a more co-ordinated approach to post-16 education.
