§ Mr. MichaelThe latest Gross Domestic Product deflators issued by Her Majesty's Treasury indicate that the real terms change in the level of Home Office grants from 1997–98 to 1998–99 is:
- Revenue grant:?.2 per cent.
- Capital grant: -14.9 per cent.
- Total grants:?.8 per cent.
Total grant also includes grant paid under section 48 of the Police Act 1996, party conferences grant, and loan charges grant paid on pre-1990 debt.
