§ Mr. Doug HendersonWe have good relations with Honduras, but look forward to developing them further with the new government of President Carlos Flores. A bilateral Investment Promotion and Protection Agreement came into force in 1995. Bilateral trade grew in both directions in 1997, particularly from Honduras to the UK. The UK has a small bilateral aid programme focused on the forosery sector and contributes approximately 15 per cent. of the European Union programme which, at US ․100 million a year, is the largest to Honduras.
