This scheme operates throughout Great Britain and is the responsibility of the Department of the Environment, Transport and the Regions. It pays grants for improving the energy efficiency standards of the homes of vulnerable householders. I am reviewing the scheme at present, to find out if it is helping the right people in the most effective way. I will consider carefully any options for developing the scheme which flow from the review.
