§ Ms JowellNo Brazilian mahogany was acquired or specified by the Department in the years 1996 and 1997.
This Department follows the Department of the Environment, Transport and the Regions' published guidance in "Green Guide for Buyers Part 1: Policy and Practice". This guidance, while having regard to the need to secure best value for money, requires minimum use of virgin materials, and then only from sustainable sources.
