§ Clare ShortWe have contributed over £400,000 to assist those affected by the drought. These funds have been channelled through Non-Government Organisations such as World Vision UK, Christian Aid, UK Foundation for the South Pacific and the Salvation Army and have concentrated mainly on the provision of food and water. We will continue to monitor the situation closely through our High Commission in Port Moresby and the Office for the Co-ordination of Humanitarian Affairs in Geneva.
