§ Mr. RookerIt is appreciated that the March 1996 extension of the ban on the feeding of mammalian meat and bonemeal to all farmed livestock, including poultry, has meant that producers have faced increased feed costs. It is, however, a long standing principle of public policy that the Government do not compensate for financial loss resulting from legislation.
