§ Dr. HowellsThese are matters for the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority. Revised criteria for NVQs, which include arrangements for independent assessment, are to be brought before the QCA Authority meeting in March. The Department is supporting additional external verification of NVQs by awarding bodies to help in assuring standards of assessment.
