§ Mr. IngramThe Government have received representations from two of the Northern Ireland parties in relation to their call for an inquiry in the Republic into the creation of the Provisional IRA. No representations have been received about reparations as such. Records are not available to show the number of deaths caused by individual organisations. However, the table indicates the number of deaths of RUC members, army and civilians due to Republican terrorists from 1969 to 29 January 1998.
