§ Mr. Andrew Smith[holding answer 14 December 1998]: Yesterday I published performance tables for all units of delivery. The tables compare progress at local level of all those young people who entered the New Deal in April—the first month of full national operation—and in particular shows what proportion of those young people has moved into jobs. Copies will be placed in the Libraries.
