The Transport Minister, Glenda Jackson, has asked Lawrie Haynes, the Chief Executive, to reply to your recent Parliamentary Question about the sea stores at Yate. I am replying in Lawrie's absence from the office.The stores are owned by the Highways Agency and are used to store mainly electrical equipment needed for the National Motorway Communications Network. There are no plans to change this use.
