§ Mr. Alan HowarthFollowing consultations with Ministerial colleagues in other interested Departments, my right hon. Friend hopes to announce the new Tentative List of potential UK World Heritage Sites within the next two or three months. this will comprise the sites which the Government will nominate to UNESCO for World Heritage status over the next five to ten years. All such nominations will need to be accompanied by Management Plans for the sites. These Plans will need to be drawn up in consultation with site owners and other bodies, and progress on their development will influence the order and timing of individual nominations.
