§ Ms ArmstrongThe report of the Government's research into the home buying and selling process will be published on Monday 7 December. At the same time, we will publish a consultation paper setting out a package of proposals for making the process quicker, easier and more efficient. The package will propose action by all the parties involved in the process, but before reaching final conclusions we want to stimulate wide debate about both the problems and the best ways of dealing with them. Copies of the consultation paper will be available from the Vote Office. Copies of the consultation paper and the research report will also be placed in the Library of both Houses.
