The Attorney-GeneralThe Treasury Solicitor's Department provides legal services to a number of Government departments and publicly funded bodies in England and Wales. It recovers its costs by charging its clients. Since April 1996 it has operated as an Executive Agency and I have recently approved its performance targets for the financial year just started.
