§ Mr. MichaelWe intend to implement the provisions contained in Part III of the Police Act 1997 as quickly as possible. Detailed work is continuing on a number of points relating to the appointment of Commissioners and the practical arrangements necessary to support their work. We intend to lay the draft code of practice on intrusive surveillance before Parliament during the Summer.
