How many members of the armed forces of Turkey are currently studying or receiving training in the United Kingdom; and at what cost to public funds. [HL1468]

Training has been provided in the UK to members of the Turkish armed forces, as is normal practice between NATO nations. Currently, there are 12 members of the Turkish armed forces on courses in the UK, at a cost of some £200,000.
