§ Mr. HainThrough SPORTLOT—the Lottery Sports Fund for Wales—we are seeing a substantial growth in facilities to serve the local, regional and national needs of sport. Since it began operating in 1995, SPORTLOT has made 76 awards totalling £11.7 million towards the provision of new or improved sports facilities throughout 573W North Wales. This includes an award of over £0.5 million to help with the construction of an all-weather athletics track and stadium at Deeside College.
