§ Mr. GalbraithThe six letters sought changes in the current abortion law. They received responses explaining that this Government, like their predecessors, do not adopt a collective position on the ethical issues of abortion and that proposals for changes in the abortion law have always been decided in Parliament on the basis of free votes.
