§ Dr. ReidIt is our aim that the Armed Forces should better reflect the society they seek to defend. To this end, contact with the local communities, including the police, further education colleges, religious and community46W leaders in both Newham and Sandwell is continuing. We very much hope that through these initiatives recruits will be attracted from all sectors of the local communities.
