The tables show the estimated expenditure for the local authorities which have made claims against the three special grants available in 1997/98. Local authorities may have also incurred other costs which have not been included in their grant claims because they are not reimbursable under the terms of the grant. We have no information on the cost for local authorities who have not claimed grant support.
