§ Angela Eagle[holding answer 30 March 1998]: The total cost of the production (design and print) of 20,000 copies of the publication "Europe's Shared Environment: The Work of the European Union in Environment Protection" was £17,429. The A4 landscape format was selected for its attractiveness and to ensure that text was clear and uncramped. This did not affect the design or print costs.
