HC Deb 27 October 1997 vol 299 cc701-2W
Mr. Todd

To ask the Secretary of State for Wales if he will list each of the functions relating to payment for goods or services supplied for which his Department is responsible indicating the management systems purchased, all subcontractors involved in the work, co-operative arrangements with other Departments; and the costs of the systems and processes in the last year for which figures are available. [12568]

Mr. Ron Davies

The functions of the Welsh Office for which payments are made are set out in the Department's supply estimates and appropriation accounts—class XIV, votes 1 to 5. Payments for all functions are handled centrally and the cost of the central finance payment processing for 1996–97 is estimated at £492,000.
