HC Deb 27 October 1997 vol 299 cc753-5W
Mr. Green

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department what were the crime clear-up and conviction rates for each policy authority area in(a) 1995 and (b) 1996. [12588]

Mr. Michael

The information requested is given in the tables. These figures are not on a comparable basis because the clear-up data relate to the number of offences and the conviction rate date relate to the number of offenders.
