HC Deb 25 November 1997 vol 301 c538W
Mr. Corbyn

To ask the Secretary of State for Social Security what assessment her Department has made of the effects of the Gloucestershire judgment relating to the provision of statutory services; and if she will make a statement. [17363]

Mr. Keith Bradley

My right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Health has the lead responsibility for the implications of the Gloucestershire judgment. The judgment does not have any effect on DSS provisions.
