§ Mr. FatchettIn our regular contacts with the Algerian authorities, we express our serious concerns about reports of human rights abuses in Algeria. We plan to continue expressing these concerns and to encourage the Algerian Government to agree an early date for the visit they have already indicated they accept from the UN Special Rapporteur on Extrajudicial Killings.
