§ Mrs. Roche[holding answer 14 November 1997]: Iraq has large outstanding debts with official creditors (such as ECGD) and private creditors around the world. It is our objective to recover debt from the Government of Iraq, although this is not easy at present, while Iraqi assets remain frozen under UN Sanctions.
