§ Angela EagleThe group which we set up to review how the Hedgerows Regulations 1997 might be strengthened is making good progress but does not now expect to be able to complete its deliberations by the end of December 1997. Its consideration of the issues involved has taken longer than anticipated. I expect it to complete its work in early 1998.
