§ Angela EagleMy Department will provide press releases to Opposition party spokesman by fax on the day of release if requested to do so. This standardises the policy of the former Departments of the Environment and of Transport, which operated different systems prior to the Election and before their 201W subsequent merger. The Department also issues press releases on the day of release via the Internet at address http://www.detr./gov.uk/. and copies are placed in the Library of the House of Commons.
