§ Mr. IngramFurther extension of the gas market depends on private sector investment. To assist possible future development Government are facilitating a feasibility study into extension of the gas industry to the North West of Northern Ireland and have participated in a feasibility study into Northern Ireland-Republic of Ireland gas interconnection.
