As part of the Deputy Prime Minister's initiative to develop the partnership between Central and Local Government, I am setting up a group to develop a framework for innovative pilots on how services can be improved at the local level through different organisations working together. The local authority sector was also well represented in my recent Better Government discussion seminars.
