§ Mr. Tom ClarkeThe English Tourist Board, the AA and the RAC are now considering the responses from the industry consultation on their proposals for replacing the existing Crown and Star schemes. They intended to make a final announcement about the new schemes, which will cover serviced accommodation, before the end of the year.
The English Tourist Board will be reviewing their separate Key Scheme for self-catering accommodation in the spring. The first stage will be to commission research into consumer expectations about this sector.
