§ Mr. MorleyFigures available from the UK Register of Organic Food Standards show that the total area of land farmed organically has increased from 30,424 hectares (0.17 per cent. of all agricultural land, including rough grazing) in April 1993 to 53,907 hectares (0.3 per cent.) in November 1997.
