§ Ms Estelle MorrisA copy of the guidance recently issued to local education authorities setting out the arrangements for early years education has been placed in the Library. Funds will be provided to support the Government's policy of providing an education place for all four-year-olds whose parents want it. Details of the funding formula and its impact for individual local authorities will be announced in due course as part of the local government finance settlement.
