To ask the Secretary of State for International Development what plans she has to meet the UN target of 0.7 per cent. of gross domestic product for overseas aid. [14133]

As our Manifesto and the Government's White Paper on International Development makes clear, we are committed to the UN 0.7 per cent. oda/GNP target and to reversing the decline in UK aid spending of the past 18 years which was cut from 0.51 per cent. of GNP to 0.27 per cent. under the previous administration.
