§ The Prime Minister[holding answer 4 November 1997]We are willing to cancel aid debts for those countries who are committed to the internationally agreed development targets, are pursuing good government, are encouraging transparency and bearing down on corruption, and are applying economic policies which benefit the poor and encourage sustainable economic development.
