To ask the Secretary of State for Wales what plans he has to visit Newport to discuss inward investment. [12401]

Mr. Hain

While I do not have any immediate specific plans to visit Newport, I am keen to see the area build on its enviable inward investment success and to see the benefits of this spread throughout Wales, not just through the encouragement of inward investment but through the growth of indigenous business too.
