To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions what progress has been made on the design and construction of the Winterbourne Stoke bypass on the A303(T). [90]

[holding answer 20 May 1997]: We are undertaking a strategic review of the Trunk Road programme and I anticipate that this scheme will be included in that review.
