To ask the Secretary of State for Health what preparations his Department is making for the UN General Assembly to review progress since the Rio Earth summit of 1992 and for the preparatory committees leading up to the summit. [19140]

Mr. Horam

The Government are committed to ensuring the United Kingdom meets the targets set at the Rio Earth summit. The Department is working, together with other Government Departments, to deliver those with health implications.
