§ Mr. David DavisCouncil regulation 2082/93 requires that member states ensure adequate publicity is given to measures carried out with financial assistance from the structural funds. Commission decision 94/342/EC sets out the detailed arrangements, including use of the EU logo, in accordance with the Council regulation.
The Council regulation was adopted unanimously as one of a package of six regulations concerning the structural funds.
