§ Mr. Bowis[holding answer 6 March 1997]: It remains the Government's intention to bring forward legislation to privatise the National Air Traffic Services early in the next Parliament. My officials are developing detailed proposals in consultation with the Civil Aviation Authority, Government Departments, representatives of NATS's staff and aviation organisations representing both commercial and private interests.
