To ask the Secretary of State for Transport how many persons per week use the LTS line to Fenchurch Street station; and how passenger numbers have changed since privatisation. [17778]

Weekly figures are not available. A count in November 1996 showed that 27,300 passengers travelled into Fenchurch Street on a weekday, which was an increase of 1 per cent. over the year before.
