§ Mr. GummerSome 3,100 copies of this year's "This Common Inheritance" report was printed. One thousand five hundred were for official use at a cost of some £22,300. Of these, 150 copies were distributed to the UN Commission on Sustainable Development; 13 to Parliament; 800 to Government Departments—including Government office for the regions and UK missions overseas, 350 to interested organisations at home; and 120 to the EU, foreign Governments and other international organisations.
Some 3,500 copies of the climate change report were printed. A total of 1,025 were for official use at a cost of some £20,000. Of these, 500 were distributed to the UN climate change secretariat, as required under the convention; 13 to Parliament; 370 to Government Departments—including UK missions overseas; 111 to consultants, agencies, industries and environment campaign groups who had helped in the production of the report or otherwise have a close interest; and 31 to the EU and other international organisations.
A few copies of each document are held by the Department of the Environment and the remainder are on sale to the general public from the Stationery Office.
