§ Mr. MorleyThe welfare of animals during transport to, from, and within the EU is regulated by directive 91/628, as amended by directive 95/29. In Great Britain these provisions are implemented by the Welfare of Animals (Transport) Order 1997 which was made on 10 June 1997. These regulations were introduced after consultation with interested parties when the subject was reviewed.
