§ Ms Glenda JacksonThe Department is committed to giving road safety a high priority and is currently reviewing its road safety strategy. We shall be announcing new measures from time to time. Road and other transport safety issues will be among the important subjects covered in our fundamental policy review leading to a White Paper on an integrated transport policy.
