§ Ms Glenda JacksonThe Government is considering at present the arrangements for implementing the Road Traffic Reduction Act. The Act provides for Ministers to issue guidance to local authorities on meeting its provisions. We envisage that this guidance will be issued in draft later this year to allow relevant bodies to comment. Amongst other issues, it is likely to address the financial implications for local authorities.
