To ask the Prime Minister if he will make a statement on the functions of the Secretary of State for Wales and other Welsh Office ministers when Welsh Office functions are transferred to a Welsh Assembly. [3288]

The Prime Minister

There will continue to be a Secretary of State for Wales who will represent Welsh interests in the Cabinet. The forthcoming White Paper on the Government's proposals for a Welsh Assembly will set out more details.
