Members for Chichester (Mr. Tyrie) and for Worthing, West (Mr. Bottomley) on 2 June, Official Report, columns 97–9. Jonathan Powell and Alastair Campbell have been appointed under the terms of the amended Civil Service Order in Council which allows them to undertake some duties which would previously have been performed by civil servants.
