§ Mrs. LiddellNo, the Government have no powers to require mortgage lenders to display such information, but welcomes the industry's Mortgage Code which comes into effect next month. Unless where insurance concerned is an investment under the Financial Services Act 1986, where the regulators' existing rules about providing information on whether agents are tied or independent already apply.
